The Heirloom Affair: A Nantucket Basket Mystery 2026

Looking to craft something timeless, a true family treasure? Join us in unraveling the secrets of the Nantucket Basket, a masterpiece of craftsmanship and precision that would make even the most meticulous detective proud.

In this class, you’ll learn the art of continuous weaving  and discover why it’s the ideal technique for creating a seamless, elegant basket. Woven over a class mold, shaping will be no mystery at all; however, beware! Those who weave too tightly may find the final reveal, removing the basket from its mold, a challenge worthy of Sherlock himself.

With a 4-inch wooden base and a 6-inch rim, this project offers both a clever beginning and a graceful finish, perfect for crafters who delight in order, balance, and beauty.

By the end of your investigation, you’ll have not only solved the puzzle of the perfect Nantucket weave but also created a piece destined to become a cherished heirloom with a touch of mystery.
