The Fleece Files: The Case of the Simply Charming Sheep 2026

Class Time: Saturday, April 25, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Room: Science South, Room 108

A most delightful mystery awaits! In this whimsical workshop, you’ll piece together the clues to create your own charming felt sheep and flowers, using simple patterns and a few classic embroidery stitches. Whether you’re an experienced sleuth of the needle arts or completely new to the craft, this investigation is perfect for all levels.

Each participant will choose their own color palette, background, sheep, and blooms ensuring every finished piece is a unique discovery. All that’s required is the ability to thread a needle; everything else will be revealed through clear instruction, demonstrations, and a bit of creative deduction.

You’ll receive everything you need for your inquiry, patterns, felt, embroidery thread, a needle, and even a small practice piece for honing your technique. By the end, you’ll have not only a lovely handmade work to adorn your table or wall, but also a new, woolly addition to your fiber herd.

Case closed — and utterly charming!

Supplies: Included in Class Cost:  Felt, Embroidery Thread, Needle, Small Practice Piece, and Handouts

• The class minimum is 4 students. If we are unable to fill these spots, we will cancel the class and provide a full refund.
