Stitch Marker Keeper

Class Time: Friday, April 25, 2025 2 to 4 PM

Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Keep your stitch markers and small notions beautifully organized with this unique woven Stitch Marker Keeper! In this class, you'll create a charming and functional container by weaving over a glass jar with a sturdy wooden base.

You’ll learn essential basket weaving techniques, including inserting spokes into a wooden base for stability and mastering continuous weaving to create a seamless design. Customize your keeper with a variety of color choices for spokes and weavers, and complete your project with a selection of decorative lids to match your personal style.

With an overall height of approximately 3 inches, this compact yet practical keeper is perfect for holding stitch markers, buttons, beads, or other small crafting essentials. Whether you're new to weaving or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a fun and rewarding way to create a one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece!

• The class minimum is 3 students. If we are unable to fill these spots, we will cancel the class and provide a full refund.
