Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Learn how to "paint with wool" in this beginner needle felting workshop. Students will learn how to use a felting needle to attach and layer wool fiber to a linen fabric backing to make this Coastal Waters Landscape. These techniques can be applied to other flat needle felting projects. We will also cover needle felting basics such as terminology, where to find inspiration and support and where to source the best supplies. You will leave this workshop with felting techniques and tips plus a beautiful felted picture.
Tools and finger guards will be available to borrow during the class.
Skill Prerequisite: No experience necessary however students must have good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity and be able to work with focus and care - felting needles are sharp!
Ages: 12+
