Next Steps in Nalbinding 2026

Class Time: Sunday, April 26, 2026 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Room: Communications Building, Room 224

In this peculiar gathering, we shall delve into the mysterious realm of Nalbinding, akin to unraveling a cryptic case alongside the esteemed Sherlock Holmes. Attendees will uncover a plethora of stitches and their coded notations, much like deciphering clues to a grand mystery. Techniques for increasing and decreasing, joining yarn ends, circular starts, working flat, and managing tension around the needle will be unearthed as if revealing hidden secrets. Furthermore, we shall concoct our very own needles, essential tools for any sleuth in the art of Nalbinding!

Skill Prerequisite: To partake in this enigmatic class, one must be acquainted with the Oslo stitch and possess the cunning to connect stitches to the previous row, reminiscent of piecing together a puzzling narrative. Completion of the Intro to Nalbinding course will equip you adequately for this session.

Ages: Middle School, High School, Adult

Supplies: Included in Class Cost: All supplies provided.

Additional Supplies Needed: Pen/Pencil & notebook.

Homework: None.
