Unravel the Enigma of Tunisian Crochet in the Round 2026

Class Time: Sunday, April 26, 2026 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Embarking upon the journey of mastering Tunisian crochet in the round is akin to solving a most intriguing puzzle. Whether you are already acquainted with the nuances of Tunisian crochet and seek to refine your expertise, or possess a deft hand in crochet and wish to venture into uncharted territory, this course shall serve as your guide.

We shall meticulously explore the essential elements of Tunisian crochet in the round from chaining to binding off. Moreover, we shall investigate the intriguing technique of applied ribbing, adding yet another layer to our craft.

Skill Prerequisite: 

• Have a firm understanding of basic crochet stitches, chaining, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. Tunisian crochet experience is NOT required for this class

Additional Supplies Needed: 

• 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn in 2 colors,
• US J - 6.0mm double ended Tunisian crochet hook OR US J-6.0mm & US I-5.5mm interchangeable Tunisian crochet hooks with a 12" - 20" cable (you only need 1) 
• US I 5.5mm traditional crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

Homework: None.
