Class Time: Friday, April 25, 2025 2 - 5 PM

Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class start time at PE Building for class location.

Discover the beauty and texture of the wildly popular brioche stitch! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of two-color brioche in the round, a technique that creates a soft, reversible fabric with stunning depth and contrast. 

By the end of the class, you'll have the skills to confidently knit basic brioche projects, along with essential tips and tricks to help you navigate common challenges. Plus, you'll get started on your very own brioche cowl, giving you a head start on a cozy, stylish accessory. Whether you're new to brioche or looking to refine your technique, this class is the perfect way to dive in and explore this exciting stitch! 

Skill Prerequisite:

  • Basic knitting skills
    • knitting
    • purling
    • knitting in the round
    • k2tog
    • yo
    • slipping stitches. 

Ages: Adult

Supplies: Included in Class Cost: Handouts

Additional Supplies Needed: 

  • Two skeins of DK or worsted weight yarn in contrasting colors (solid or semisolid colors recommended)
    • For example: White and Dark Blue/Yellow and Purple
  • 16-in US8/5.0mm circular needles
  • stitch marker

  • The class minimum is 5 students. If we are unable to fill these spots, we will cancel the class and provide a full refund.
