Class Time: Friday, April 25, 2025 1 - 4 PM

Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class start time at PE Building for class location.

Instructor: Kelly Jones

Learn continuous strand weaving and create your own beautiful cardinal blanket or pillow.  In this class you will learn how to weave on a 4" square and two matching triangles. We will work together on this pattern, weaving each piece and seaming them together. Your block can be used as a pillow front, wall hanging, or even the start to a beautiful quilt. The future design possibilities are endless with these three little looms.

  • Pin Loom
  • Hook 

Additional Supplies Needed: 

  • Yarn needed: heavy worsted weight yarn in the following colors: 

    • Red – 50 yards 
    • Salmon color complimentary to the red – 25 yards 
    • Sky Blue – 135 yards  
    • Green – 35 yards 

    The instructor will be using I Love This Yarn acrylic, 3 yards each color. 

    I Love This Yarn used in sample in Cranberry, Soft Blue, and Forest Green.  Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Chunky Spice for Salmon color. 

    The instructor will provide some orange and black for the eye and beak, but you are free to also bring your own.

  • The class minimum is 5 students. If we are unable to fill these spots, we will cancel the class and provide a full refund.
