Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.
Instructor: DeAnna Neale
Interested in weaving but not ready for a big loom? Start by learning basic weaving techniques on a rigid heddle loom. We will address direct warping the loom and working with color and textures to dredge beautifully woven items. Use of instructor’s rigid heddle looms and all yarn will be provided.
Skill Prerequisite: None.
Ages: 14+
Supplies: Included in Class Cost
- Rigid Heddle Loom to borrow
- Warp and Weft Yarn
Additional Supplies Needed: Pencil and paper for note taking.
