Class Time: Friday, April 26, 2024, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Learn how to "sculpt with wool" in this beginner needle felting workshop. Students will learn how to turn wool batting into this cute mushroom scene. These techniques can be applied to other 3D needle felting projects. Workshop includes all materials. Tools and finger guards will be available for use during the class. We will also cover needle felting basics such as terminology, where to find needle felting inspiration and support and where to source the best supplies.
Skill Prerequisite: No experience necessary however students must have good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity and be able to work with focus and care - felting needles are sharp!
Ages: 12+
