Step into the world of woolly deduction and uncover the secrets of spinning your own yarn, we promise no bulky spinning wheel required! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll become a fiber sleuth, examining natural fibers and unraveling the mysteries of twist, tension, and technique using the humble drop spindle.
Working in pairs like Sherlock & Watson, you’ll break down each motion into simple, revealing clues that lead you closer to the perfect yarn. Along the way, we’ll crack the code of plying and learn how to properly finish your skein.
By the end of your investigation, you’ll have solved the mystery of handspinning and take home both your self-made yarn and your trusty drop spindle, the ultimate tool of the yarn detective.

- The class minimum is 3 students. If we are unable to fill these spots, we will cancel the class and provide a full refund.
