Location: St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Check in at Registration 15 minutes prior to class starting at PE Building for location.

Mosaic knitting is a great way to dip your toes into colorwork. In this class we will go over what mosaic knitting is, how to knit the technique and other useful tips. To learn this technique, we'll work through the Pinus Cowl Pattern by SweaterFreak. Join me to learn and expand your skill set!

Skill Prerequisite: Cast On, Knit, Purl, Yarn Over, Bind Off, Consistent stitches, and comfortable knitting in the round.

Ages: 10+

Supplies Included in Class Cost: None.

Additional Supplies Needed

  • Two different DK weight yarn in contrasting colors
  • Size 3.75mm (US 5) and 4.0mm (US 6) circular knitting needles on a 16 inch cable

Homework

  • Buy the Pinus Cowl Pattern. Click here to purchase.
  • Cast On and complete the Rib Section only.
